[Test principle]
The arginine amidase activity in the sperm acrosome reflects the activity of all acrosomal enzymes. Arginine amidase is decomposed to produce yellow p-nitroaniline by using Nα-benzoyl-DL-arginine-ρ-p-nitroanilide (BAPNA) as a substrate, and the amount of the product can be used to calculate the refined ammonia.
